A Great Gatsby Gala for a private school in New York City
The bride and groom wanted a regal and rich look for their palatial wedding. Inspiration was taken from the bright Rajasthani colors, ikat textiles, and royal elephants. The typography, printed in raised gold, simple, modern, and well-balanced.
The aesthetic of this Indian-German wedding invitation was to keep a balance between the minimal German and indulgent Indian. A subtle color palette of blue-silver-white was chosen, along with watermarked paisley patterns. The couple’s names were printed large and bold, whereas the rest of the text was clean and minimal.
Jania and Neil wanted to incorporate the Toi-Toi plants from the fields by where they were getting married, along with a play on Neil’s last name, Toy. They wanted it bold, black and white, and clean.
