KAKHI Designs is the brainchild of two Mumbai natives, Tejal Kadakia and Namrata Simran Khiantani (KAKHI is derived from combining the beginnings of their last names — KA and KHI).

Tejal has a background in jewelry design and gemology, from the Gemological Institute of America.Simran (neé Namrata Daswani), who now lives in New York city, has a background in graphic design and corporate branding, with a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design.

In addition to corporate branding, KAKHI also specializes in wedding stationery, personal stationery (everything is customizable) and other fun products, like vanity trays, lunch boxes, wrapping paper, gift boxes, gift bags, wine bottle packaging and kids’ stationery lines.
